  • How much does a new roof cost?

    A cost of a new roof installation can vary greatly depending on the materials that are being uses, the slope and features of your roof, and the cost of the labor.. Typically a roof will cost anywhere between $3 to $5 per square foot.   

  • How long should my roof last?

    WIthout any weather events that causes damage, a  new ashpalt shingle roof should last around 15 to 20 years.  Whereas a clay tile or metal roof can last upwards of 50 years. 

  • How can I extend the life of my roof?

    The best possible way to extend the life of your roof is to have peroidical inspections. These can either be self inspections if you know what you are looking for, or if you are uncorfortable doing it yourself then get a professional inpsection done. These inspections will be envaluable in extending the life of your roof by catching potential problems early. 

  • Do you provide commercial roofing as wel?

  • How do I know when I need to get a new roof?

    Some signs that you may need a roof are interior water damage, missing or curling shingles, a roofline that sags, or any other physical damage that may have happened after a storm. If you are unsure if you need a new roof, we can provide a free inspection with our recommendations.

  • What type of roofing material can you provide?

    We provide all the standard roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing, rubber slate, and clay tiles. If there is another type of material that you are interested in, please let us know and we can see if we can accomodate. 

  • Does my homeowner's insurance cover the cost of a new roof?

    A typical homeowner's insurance will cover the cost of a new roof due to a weather event such as hail, high winds, or a fire, though you will be responsible for paying some kind of deductible depending on how your insurance policy is set up. 

  • How do I know if my roof is leaking?

    Signs you may have a leaky roof are wet stains on the framing of the roof in the attic, or wet and deteriorating insulation. You may also notice stains on your ceiling or damp external walls.  A leaky roof is a serious problem that can lead to mold growing in your home. If you see any of these signs, call your local roofing contractor up as soon as possible.

  • My roof is stained. Do I need to get it replaced?

    Stains doesn't always mean you need to have a roof replacement. Depending on home much sun your home gets,  there could be some algea build up on your shingles but this doesn't harm your roof. Use a mixture of 1 part bleach and 2 parts water to wash off your roof, scrubbing where needed. Never power wash your roof as it could damage the shingles. 

  • What is flashing?

    Flashing is the material that is used to seal different joints on your roof such as those around pipes as well as in the valleys. The material used for flashing is usually some type of aluminum or steel. 

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes, we are a licensed and insured roofing company.  So if you choose us as your contractor, you can rest assured you will receive a professional and qualified service. 

  • What is the best type of roof to get?

    This entirely depends on your preference.  Asphalt singles are the most common and are a cheaper option than a metal roof. Metal roofing is more unique but will also be more expensive, along with clay tiles. They offer a more unique look as well. 

  • How do I know if my roof needs a repair or replacement?

    The choice between a roof repair or a total replacement can be a tricky one. It all depends on how  the inspection goes and how old the roof is. If the roof has major damage in multiple places then it will definitely need a roof replacement. But if there is just localized damage or problem areas, then just a simple repair could be more economical. Age of the roof also plays a roll in this decision and as your roofing contractor, we will give you our expert opinion and all the information necessary for you to make a decision.
